DtDNS is a leader in outsourced DNS services, specializing in managed DNS hosting for small businesses and dynamic address handling for consumers. We also provide DNS services to hosting providers and software developers looking for customized solutions.

Established in March of 1999, DtDNS was founded to provide services to the users that Monolith (ml.org, the original dyndns service) left stranded when they went under. Several other DNS providers came up around the same time, most of which have since shut down.

The administrative features of the DtDNS solution allow me to precisely
control the setup and configuration of over 75 domains, and more
importantly, allow me to make changes to zone files instantly, rather
than depending upon an ISP to make changes, which can take days.  I've
been using DtDNS for 2 years and find it a more economical solution than
leasing and maintaining my own DNS servers.  My questions have always
been answered promptly and completely - the level of customer support
has been excellent.

Wonderful!  This was really quite painless.  I'm really impressed.  I've
been wrestling this last week trying to figure out how go get my IP
address associated with my domain name.  At first I was going to set up
BIND on my own Linux server, but it proved to be an extremely daunting
task.  The scripting involved was way over my head. I started to think,
"There's got to be an easier way to do this..."

So I started asking around and finally got some straight answers from a
tech friend. He put me onto Dynamic DNS Services that many companies
like your own provide.  I'm glad now that I found your service. This
really does make things a lot simpler for me in setting up my own
personal web server.
